W E C H S E L R A U M initiated by Ulrike Mohr is an ephemeral format at the interface of exhibition, performance and production, in which the material (charcoal) becomes an object of communication for individual artistic and scientific positions. The exhibition space becomes a temporary laboratory and public platform, constructed through the constant transformation generated by the individual artistic positions.

Our performative intervention FELDBEWEGUNG took place directly after Alice Goudsmit’s text performance with Martin Simon at the window as a transitional field from outside to inside and vice versa. In order to be able to see how we move inside, it was necessary to remove the milky layer from the window. This moment of exposure became the core of our performance, an encounter of inner space with the outer as a touch through the pane. A dialog from the inside to the outside that rhythmically connected the movement of wiping with the tactile movements and dynamics inside.
